You Deserve a Therapist Who Truly Sees You
Scrolling through therapist profiles when you're "different" can feel impossible. Your identity, beliefs, or way of being in the world has led others to treat you like an outsider. The thought of opening up to yet another therapist who might be confused, concerned, or demeaning about who you are can feel overwhelming.
You've likely heard therapists, doctors, or others say things like:
"There's no such thing as being bisexual..."
"Polyamory isn't normal. Did your parents have affairs?"
"What does non-binary even mean?"
"You need to stop using cannabis if you want to work with me"
"BDSM is a disorder that needs treatment"
"All lives matter" (when you mention racial justice)
Or worse - attempts to convert you from your spiritual beliefs
I get it. I've lived through these scenarios myself.
Once, I felt like an outsider with no place to belong. Then I found the right therapist - everything changed. Through having a non-judgmental person help me help myself, I learned it was not only okay to be different, it was beautiful. It was like finding the breath I didn't know I'd been holding.
Now, I hope to be that therapist for you.

My Approach to Therapy
You are awesome whether you know it or not, and if there’s anything I’d like to do, it’s help you realize that. I can be pretty direct, but I'm always on your side; I don't want you to hold yourself back or beat yourself up any longer. Some people might describe my therapy style as a bit “coach” like, but that’s because I’m enthusiastic about your growth. I’m not afraid to dive into your trauma either though, and I love having the opportunity to help you work through the experiences in your past that haunt you.
As both a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and spiritual practitioner, I bring a unique integration of evidence-based therapy with spiritually-informed healing. You don't have to choose between clinical support and spiritual growth - you can have both.
Clinical Foundations I Use:
Internal Family Systems (IFS) - Healing all parts of yourself with compassion
EMDR - Processing trauma and releasing stuck patterns
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy - Living aligned with your values
Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy - Present-moment awareness for lasting change
EFT Tapping - Releasing emotional blocks through meridian work
Body-Based (Somatic) & Energy Healing:
Somatic trauma processing - Healing held in the body
Breathwork & meditation techniques - Nervous system regulation
Mindful movement integration - Reconnecting with your body's wisdom
Energy healing & Reiki - Clearing energetic blocks
Pathwalking - Guided meditations to connect with your inner knowing
In our work together, I will offer you the tools to expand your view of yourself and your world. By exploring parts of Self , mindfully bringing awareness to your experience, expressing yourself through activities tailored to your interests such as art, writing, movement, and more, you will gain a new perspective on life and your purpose. We’ll tackle the boundaries you’ve always wanted to have, but been too afraid to assert.
If you are willing to take the risk and get to know yourself, you can radically change your life. In our work together, you'll have weekly practices to help you integrate what you're working on in sessions - many opportunities to grow! While I recognize the work is challenging, we will game plan around each difficulty so that we can tackle them together.
I am:
Trauma informed and specialized - especially survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, or childhood sexual abuse
A polyamory and kink friendly therapist

Open to trying new things
Seeking to confront the reality of their situation & their contributions to the situation(s)
Done blaming or feeling blamed for their circumstances & strongly desire to live a more centered life
Ready to see some radical changes in their lives
Motivated to go deep into their inner "junk" & do some real self-reflection
