Monday Morning Vibe Check - 10/27/25

Happy Monday, friends!

Unsure why the first solid thirty seconds of this video is missing! It jumps right into the reading today, and for some reason my initial saying hi and check in went poof! Ah well.

So hi! Read or watch on for the full reading for the week!

P.S. This is my last Monday morning vibe check for the Ultimate Blog Challenge. So if you’ve been tuning in from the Ultimate Blog Challenge, it’s been a pleasure to have you here!

TRANSCRIPT (May not be 100% accurate)

I am here to pull some cards for the collective like I always do on Monday and drop in and see what the message is for us to carry with us into the week.

So today I am pulling from Angels and Ancestors by Kyle Gray.

And I’m just going to ask, as we step into this liminal space on this Monday morning, as we’re moving towards Samhain on the 31st through the 2nd, as we are moving deeper into fall, into the darkness, towards winter: What beacon can we rely on during this time? Where can we look for the light?

Water Guardian, connect with your emotions. So our emotions, and oh, I actually really love this because there is a big water energy around the season about fall, and we’re being invited to tune into our inner worlds, our felt senses, our emotions, so that we can source what’s happening in here and use it as information.

So often we are cut off from our bodies and from our felt senses and our emotions, and this Water Guardian is reminding us to dive in, to feel—not to react, but to feel and see what information is there for us. So in order to source our light, we need to feel what’s so often kept in the dark, what’s hidden in the shadows. That is what’s coming through with this one.

So my next question is, what can we expect during this time?

First of all, changing times. The Spirit Fox, trust your talents in changing times.

Right now, it feels like a topsy-turvy, crazy, wild, constantly changing time. So I do think we can trust in the cycle ahead that things will continue to change. The more that we feel our feelings and allow ourselves to drop into the inner realms, the more easily we’re going to be able to ride the waves of changing times.

So whatever’s changing in your life right now, whatever feels like you’re going through that transition, you’re entering that liminal space, how can you trust your talents, your unique, beautiful, brilliant talents?

You are one of a kind. You are so beautiful, so special, so important. There is no one like you. And your gifts are needed at this time.

Your gifts are needed in this time of change and turmoil.

So how can you trust them more? And I do think it directly relates to finding the light within your emotions, allowing yourself to feel the inner worlds of what you feel inside, not bottling it up, but really leaning in and trusting.

So how do we support this emotional and self-trusting work?

Through the power of our choice. Choose your path. The Direction Guardian—all these beautiful animals here.

Hi, Miss Baby Tuesday. My kitties are coming to visit.

We are really being given the invitation to choose. Use your discernment. Use your sovereignty. Use your sacred mind to discern. Feel into your felt senses to discern. Feel into your body to discern. Gather all of this information and then choose.

So much of trust—I actually want to go back here because this came up at the Dark Moon Desire circle, and I feel like I did not articulate it even in the beginnings of realms of enough. We lose trust with ourselves because we set intentions and we don’t follow through. And an intention is literally using our thinking brain and our felt sense and all the information that we’ve gathered to set a goal, to make an intention, to literally decide we’re going to do something.

But the problem is so many of us decide and then we don’t do it. We don’t actually apply our will and follow through. And that is what the Direction Guardian is reminding us: you have to choose and you have to follow through.

You have to actually walk the path.

You have to move forward.

So in order to trust yourself, you have to actually follow up on what you say you’re going to do for yourself.

If you’re like, “I’m gonna start working out, I’m gonna write that book finally,” and then you don’t, what that does is it continues to deepen your lack of self-trust. And this is why I teach people to start teeny tiny, bite-sized, so small it’s laughable. You’re like, “I absolutely know I could do that.”

So it’s not “I’m going to start working out” or “I’m going to write the book.” It’s “Tomorrow I am going to stretch for two minutes.” I can absolutely do that. Yeah, that’s—yep, I could do two minutes. We want a bite-sized piece that’s so small we can laugh at how easy it is to do it.

For starting a book, you know what? Tomorrow I’m going to sit down and I’m going to just write a hundred words. No pressure, just a hundred words. And doable. But when we are setting these huge long distance goals and intentions and then we don’t follow through because it’s too big—that’s our limbic system protecting us, first of all, but second of all, it corrodes and destroys our self-trust.

So the message for this week is to feel your feelings. Feel them, sit with them, connect with them. They don’t have to control you. They don’t have to run your life. You don’t have to react from them. But you do need to feel them so that they don’t get bottled up, so that they don’t continue to cause chaos and turmoil in there. Okay?

So feel your feelings and trust your talents in these changing times. Build your trust. Whether it is building a spiritual practice—that’s what we’re talking about in my eight days events, which just as a reminder, you can tune into for free at 10 a.m. over on my YouTube, and the first day is going to stay up.

But can you build trust in your spirit? Can you build trust in your emotions? Can you build trust in your mind? Can you build trust in your body? Can you build trust in your community? Can you set an intention and follow through with yourself that you’re going to use your gifts because they were given to you for a reason? These are big questions.

And then finally, we need to choose. We need to choose our direction and choose our path and actually walk down it. We need to decide, “Yes, this is mine to do,” and now I’m going to go do it. And then use our willpower to forge ahead and make it happen. And the path is always going to change. The path is always going to open into new possibilities that we didn’t see before. And we get to feel our feelings and trust our talents as the changes come up.

You are your own rock. You get to support yourself. So I really, really encourage you to build your self-trust, feel your feelings, and choose. Be discerning as you move forward. That is the message for this week.

So I hope that this was useful, that you heard something you needed to hear. I just want to really let you know I see you in your humanness and your divinity, and I love you so damn much.

And I know that walking this path of being human is complex. There is no one size fits all. There is no one right answer. There is no easy fix or quick way out. There is self-love though. There’s self-empowerment. There’s joy. There’s standing in pleasure. There’s being who we are meant to be and showing the hell up in that. We get to decide to do that.

So empower yourself, my friends, and know that I’m here as a support. I’m one message away from cheering you on and celebrating you. So if you need me, I’m here. And otherwise, you’ll see me in videos and blogs and all of that stuff.

So this is my last Monday morning vibe check for the Ultimate Blog Challenge. So if you’ve been tuning in from the Ultimate Blog Challenge, it’s been a pleasure to have you here. I’m so glad that you’ve tuned into my blog, even though it might not have been normally what you would take a peek at. So know that I see you. I’m sending all of my fellow bloggers lots and lots of love. And yeah.

Otherwise, happy Monday, my friends. I hope that you take good care of yourselves as we move towards Samhain. I’ll be back throughout the week leading up to Samhain with, I’m sure, poetry and writing and reflections on what I’m with Dr. Bird and all of it. So, all right, my friends, I love you so much. I’ll see you back here again tomorrow, not live, but in writing, and then again next Monday. Bye for now.
