Light Language & The Voice of Love: A Reluctant Channeler's Story
Have you ever experienced a moment when your ego screams “OH NO, OH NO! DO NOT DO THAT!” when you’re about to do something new or scary in front of other people?
I have plenty of times, but today I wanted to share about the time I started speaking in tongues in the middle of a YouTube Live…
Yeah.
That was me in early 2023, the first time my light language came through.
I was mid-channeling a meditation for a moon ceremony—doing my usual thing with guided visualizations and affirmations—when syllables started bubbling up.
Not words.
Not English.
Just... sounds.
Healing sounds that my logical brain had absolutely no reference point for.
And while these frequencies were flowing through me, there was this tiny part of my brain in the back going: “Shit, what’s happening? Oh my god. Oh my god. You’re already weird enough. Please. PLEASE don’t do this.”
So obviously, I did it anyway—despite much terror.
And I’ve been doing it ever since.
What is Light Language?
If you’re new to the concept, light language (also called glossolalia, or “speaking in tongues” in some traditions) is essentially a form of expression and/or channeled communication that bypasses the limitations or ego of human language.
It’s frequency-based transmissions that speak directly to the soul level of us.
For me, it’s mostly different each time—though some sounds and syllables do return, a familiar soul-dialect weaving through (my light language is Lemurian and Mintakan, but that’s a story for another day).
Pentecostals, Charismatic Catholics and Protestants, Apostolic churches all explore the gift of speaking in tongues, so this is not limited to “pagan” or “Starseed” practices!
It is always spoken in the highest energy of love, with the intention of clearing, clarifying, activating, or integrating soul-info.
Every transmission brings its own energetic signature. It feels like communicating with other parts of my soul, Source, and accessing frequencies that don’t need translation to do their work. Healing sounds!
Some other light language speakers I’ve met have a well-established repertoire of sounds or words.
I’ve found I’m more like the jazz improv version of light language—with a few favorite riffs that like to show up if you pay close enough attention or have the gift of translating unknown languages. Some people do!
Meet The Voice of Love
As I got more comfortable with the whole “making weird and woo sounds in public” thing, something else distinct emerged—what I now call the Voice of Love.
The Voice of Love isn’t a separate entity or guide. It’s not even “my” voice, really. It is a presence of palpable compassion for all. It’s the frequency of Universal unconditional love—Source energy, God essence, whatever term resonates with you.
It’s the words I know to be true when I’m viewing everything through the lens of pure, unconditional love. No judgment. No agenda. Just... love for all beings, exactly as they are.
It’s a powerful voice, and this one is translated through in English.
An Invitation from Spirit
Despite channeling my light language for public ceremonies for some time, I took a break from sharing light language publicly for a while.
First, I didn’t want to accidentally scare off the unaware who might drop into a moon ceremony expecting us to connect with the moon, then suddenly thinking they’re in a summoning circle. Hahaa~
Second, I wanted it to feel more sacred and consensual, so I began reserving it for my private clients.
But recently with all the turmoil in the world, I received an invitation from Spirit—the call to share both my light language and weave with the Voice of Love for with anyone who wants access to this particular mode of my medicine again.
Because the 10/10 Portal energy is largely about new beginnings, I got the tug from my soul that this upcoming Friday would be the right day to host a free event.
I’m here to bathe people in Universal love whether they understand the words or not!
This is just one way my legacy work shows up in the world—being and holding the energy of love for all in the world. Uplifting others by simply being who I am—weird and woo and all.
